The outlook for Green Means is a hand-in-hand economic initiative with community dwellers and leaders to prioritize environmental stewardship and public health.
Candace Green is the founder of Green Means, Inc. She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and ACE Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant. Candace holds a B.A. in Architecture from Yale University and a M.F.A in Interior Design from George Washington University. She was a decorated member of the Yale University Women's Volleyball Team, and a National Strength and Conditioning All-American. With a background in competitive team sports and bodybuilding, Candace works well with all athletes of all skill levels. As someone who loves to train herself, Candace knows firsthand what it takes to lead a fit lifestyle. And as an enthusiastic model of green living and health, Candace's confidence translates into triumphant success with her clients.
Warren Wilson III is the Director of Green Means Sports & Athletics. He is a certified teacher, coach, and lifeguard specializing in K-8 health and physical education. Warren was a Division I student athlete and holds a B.S. in Education from Virginia State University. He has played with the American Basketball Association, and will be a lifelong fan of the sport. Basketball continues to be one of his favorite pasttimes, along with fishing, mountain biking, and swimming. More than anything else, Warren has a zeal for inspiring young adults. His wisdom and vivacious style make him a well-liked leader. Students and clients alike fondly call him mentor and friend.
Rachel Wong is the Green Means Nutrition consultant. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Dietetics, works as Registered Dietician, and is licensed to practice in D.C. Rachel is an avid runner and understands the needs of the active person's body. She enjoys working with people of all ages to develop balanced nutrition that caters to their lifestyle.
Jeff Jordan is a Green Means Personal Trainer, certified by AFAA. He is a former U.S. Marine boxer and has an extensive background in competitive sports and physical training. He holds an Associates Degree in Information Technology from Stratford University. Jeff believes that the body and mind have to be in sync for optimum health. As a person who trains himself on a continuous schedule, Jeff has what it takes to teach you how to maintain the enthusiasm and confidence to lead a fit and balanced lifestyle. In his down time, Jeff's enjoys playing basketball, running, fishing and working out in the gym. Ultimately, he thrives on helping others realize positive transformation in their lives.
